RADIATION SPIKING ON U.S. WEST COAST - NOW Print
Monday, 30 December 2013 19:12

December 30, 2013 7:15 PM EST [4:15 PM PST] -- (TRN http://www.TurnerRdioNetwork.com ) -- Significant radiation spikes are being detected in several cities on the U.S. west coast, as more radiation from the Fukushima, Japan nuclear meltdown appears to begin arriving.  Eureka,  San Francisco,  and Sacramento, CA, are all showing sizable  - but not yet dangerous - increases in radiation.  In addition, Geiger Counter stations in Spokane, Olympia and Richland, WA are now showing rising rates, as are stations in Juneau, AK and as far south as Tucson, AZ.

This comes just days after TRN alerted residents of the west coast to begin preparations for a possible radiation plume when the Tokyo Electric Power Company in Japan admitted steam was suddenly seen venting from Fukushima reactor building #3  That was one of four reactors wrecked by an earthquake and tsunami in March, 2011.  It now appears that steam and its radiation may be arriving on the west coast of north America. Map and Geiger Counter Levels are included below.

Radiation Spiking on U.S. West Coast

Eureka, CA, is now reporting Counts-Per-Minute (CPM) as: current 217 while the local 3 month average has been 166; that's a sudden increase of 51 points within the last hour alone.

San Francisco, CA, is now reporting CPM as: current 340 while the local 3 month average has been 243; that's a sudden increase of 102 points within the last hour alone.

Sacramento, CA, is now reporting CPM as: current 324  while the local 3 month average has been 201; that's a sudden increase of 123 points within the last hour alone.

Spokane, WA is now reporting CPM as: current 15  while the local 3 month average has been 2; that's a sudden increase of 13 points within A TEN MINUTE time frame within the last hour alone.

Olympia, WA  is now reporting CPM as: current 116 while the local 3 month low has been 82; that's a sudden increase of  34 points.

Richland, WA is now reporting CPM as: current 331 while the local 3 month low has been 186; that's an increase of 145 points.

Tucson, AZ is now reporting CPM as: current 398 while the local 3 month low has been 216; that's an increase of 182 points.

All of the above readings measure CPM of Gamma radiation in energy range 600-800keV.

These readings are ** NOT ** dangerous yet, and you do not need to take protective action yet. You should make it a point to keep abreast of developments by checking the actively-updated Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center HERE.  These readings are showing clear signs of sudden increase and they could be indicative of the first wave of new radiation from Fukushima, Japan arriving in the U.S. just days after TEPCO announced that steam had inexplicably begun billowing from Reactor Building #3.  Since that building is wrecked from the Tsunami and highly radioactive, TEPCO admits is cannot send anyone into that building to find out exactly why steam is coming out.

Just days ago, TRN issued a NEWS FLASH explaining the situation and suggesting ways to protect yourself.  You can read that article and all its helpful tips to protect yourself and your family HERE.
